Monthly missions - can't claim rewards

    same here. Or you complete the task and it never shows that you completed it.

    it seems the game don't think i am VIP when i try to claim the rewards. but when i look at my profile i am VIP.. so weird ? I reported this - and i am getting ignored.. so far.. amazing.

    That happened to me this past week with two missions/rewards that I should have received but didn't.

    If you contact SongPop's help support and tell them about your issue, they're very responsive and helpful.  Try to remember to take a screenshot of the error message you receive, or of the reward you were shortchanged out of and include that with your email to them. 

    With regards to the two sets of rewards that I didn't receive when I should have received them, support personnel retroactively applied those rewards to my Mission account.

    Who do you send screenshot to? I have been trying to get my PLAY BUTTON back for 5 days. All I get for answer. It is extremely busy. We will get to you as soon as we can. 

    The problem with with that is the weekly missions and rewards. Are not waiting for you to fix my

    problems. I loose all my rewards waiting.

    Hey Danny...

    I'll tell you what I did.

    So, when I went to the Missions/Rewards page to collect my points for "Gimme Shelter" by The Rolling Stones (Song of the Day), it came up "no video". So, I hit to claim my 70 points, and got the same message as you. I exited, and the next time I went to the Mission/Reward page, everything was frozen. I did get a message to "wait", "exit the app", or "send a report". I sent a report.
    I then tried again, but everything was frozen. I must have hit the claim button 5 or 6 times, and the wait/exit/send report options came up. This time, instead of hit exit or send report, I hit "wait". It took a couple minutes...less than 120 seconds, but a couple minutes to be safe, things started turning, the page unfroze, I got my points and can now collect my rewards.
    Maybe I just got lucky. But that's what I did with the same problem you're having.

    Today I'm unable to claim the reward for the Beethoven Artist of the Day challenge, despite having correctly answered at least 5-6 songs by Beethoven.

    thanks... my problem got solved now, it was because i had a "old" annual vip membership. After changing to a monthly membership it is working fine for me.

    About the Beethoven challenge, there was a bug in the game, no one could get it.

    Just as an update of information for anyone who's still wondering about these issues, I received a response from SongPop's support staff after having emailed them about this issue.  And as an FYI they were inundated with help requests about this.  What they told me is: 

    We are very sorry about the issue with the Beethoven mission, there was indeed an error in the app.
    In order to make it up to the users who had tried to complete the mission, we have added 85 stars to all the users who had guessed 2 or more songs by Beethoven.

    And they DID do exactly what they promised.  I DID receive the points/starts, because I had guess more than FIVE songs by Beethoven that day, well in excess of the two-song requirement that they referenced.

    I have to say KUDOS to SongPop's customer support, who have always been very responsive to any help requests that I have submitted to them thus far!
