Hi I just tap on “join the race” and it delete my stars... please how I can take it back

  That's pretty much how it works. "Join the race" means you give up your mastery for a chance to redo it and gain a badge (or multiple badges) this time, depending on the time it takes you to clear it

  Once SP re-releases a particular playlist, you’ll notice there will be a trophy cup in the upper left corner of the playlist. If you have already earned progress on that list, the trophy will be empty and you will have to join the race using 5 power ups and it will restart your progress so you can begin earning towards badges in that genre
