BADGE for full 5 star (fully mastered) playlist?
This is actually a repost from songpop forum, the old one. Maybe I'm annoying, but over there it got zero views, and I'd really like to get an opinion on this.
I'm certainly no programmer, I have no clue how much game editing this could take, but hear me out:
SP2 introduced party badges for coming up first at the end of a party challenge. Several different badges are there to collect for those who spend the most tickets, powerups, reflexes, luck, time and experience, but nevermind that- you get a BADGE that you get to show off next to your profile picture in the game. If I'm not mistaken, those who get several same badges, also get little stars on the ribbon underneath the badge in equivalent of badges won.
Now, back to playlists. Remember all those full 5 star (fully mastered) playlists that many of you just couldn't wait to get rid of (until the introduction of the on/off button)? Because once completed, you either lost motivation to level it further up (because there is no further levelling up) or you used it in cases simply to murder the poor soul who has one or none full stars in that playlist. Personally, I miss some of the mastered playlists, because nothing new came after the fifth star got filled. And I don't find it in a spirit of sportsmanship to destroy (for an example) an r'n'b/hip hop fan with a full 90s alternative or a grunge playlist. No fun in that.
Suggested solution (what I'm trying to say):
Once you fill the fifth star (fully mastered it), you should get a badge for it! :D I suggest that it doesn't show next to your profile picture, but only when you challenge someone with that playlist, perhaps next to the stars. And perhaps it could be a picture of that songpop record that keeps spinning when you start the game? Details.
Now, to put some meaning into winning playlist badges, I later suggest that after you fill up your fifth star and get your badge, the playlist should reset! Meaning, you go over the playlist again (if you want, otherwise there's still that on/off button), your stars are empty as in a new playlist, but you have your badge for the great achievement. If you go through this again until another 5 full stars, you get another badge which is counted in a number of stars on a badge ribbon. Kind of recycling, with a reward :)
What do you say?
English is not my first language, I hope you'll understand what I'm trying to say here. Cheers to all!

I'm not sure if you've noticed this, but what you're suggesting was already introduced in the latest update:

@Kermit11 are you referring to the New Mastery playlist that was introduced? Because if so, then I don't believe that's what the OP was talking about. I think they are asking about already mastered playlist prior to the new update that aren't eligible. Or even new playlist that you buy but haven't finished yet.
For example Classic Rock was my first mastered playlist & I turned it off once I completed it. I only play it if someone challenges me because otherwise there is no motivation for myself to keep playing it, especially when I have others that I need to complete. As you can see below it says this playlist is not part of the Mastery Rewards and rankings are unavailable:
So I went to the shop & found a playlist I don't own nor have any stars and it's not available either:
I think it's a great idea that would motivate people to turn their old lists back on again! It's not the same as earning a badge for Rock & Top Hits like what is currently being offered when you place in the Mastery tournaments. It's like a separate badge of honor saying "Hey I've mastered this playlist x number of times. I don't think you should get a badge the FIRST time you complete the playlist as the MASTERED with laurel leaves already shows you did. But when the stars reset & you complete it a SECOND time, then you get a badge.

I LOVE this idea! If anyone working for SongPop reads this suggestion, please, send it up the line for serious consideration. As a VIP player, I can assure you that this would reinvigorate my initial enthusiasm about SongPop, and it is apparent, from the originator of the idea, and three out of four of the previous responders, that this idea has the type of universal appeal that BRINGS IN NEW BUSINESS. This is a win-win idea, for consumers and SongPop.
