SongPop is turning 10 this summer, and we're getting ready for the next decade.
SongPop 2 is getting a new name: SongPop Classic. Your favorite game is here to stay!
Our cousin SongPop 3 will become SongPop, where big new things are happening!
For the Classic experience to live on, our VIP and Diamond VIP subscriptions are going to disappear in June, to make room for SongPop Plus, for more SongPop than ever before!
Subscription Benefits
SongPop Plus will have all the benefits of VIP, Diamond VIP, and more:
- Play any playlist for free without purchasing it
- Master playlists faster with an extra bonus for every correct answer
- Play up to 300 games at once
- Exclusive parties for PLUS players
- Unlimited Free Daily Bonus Revive: you will NEVER have to pay again to revive your daily bonus when you miss a day!
- Get 4x Daily Bonus Rewards every day: each day, your daily bonus rewards will be quadrupled, and you don't have to watch any ad for that!
- Master Playlists while playing Party Mode: Gain some mastery points on your favorite playlists even when you are playing Party Mode, in order to master playlists even faster!
- Get an exclusive SongPop Plus badge: as part of the daily bonus rewards, you will also get an exclusive Diamond VIP badge, only available for Diamond VIP users
- Choose when you open your Daily Bonus: tired of getting 15 minutes of unlimited tickets or doubled rewards at times when you cannot play? Now, it's up to you to choose when these 15 minutes will apply (or 60 minutes, since you will be able to get 4x rewards each time without watching ads ;) ).
- Get free tickets every day without watching ads: every day, you will get 5 free tickets without having to watch any ad.
- Special profile page design: SongPop Plus users get a special profile page, which displays all of their badges upfront
- Free playlist reset on all playlists: in order to join the mastery race, you might have to use power ups to reset the progress on some of your playlists if you had already gained some progress on them before they were re-released. With Diamond VIP, you will be able to join the race for free.

For players with a subscription originating in Classic, your subscription will no longer work in SongPop. We apologize for the inconvenience, but if you wish to share your subscription across both games we now ask that you make the purchase through your SongPop account instead of your Classic account. The price remains the same on both apps, and your SongPop subscription will work in both SongPop Classic and SongPop.
You will be able to use your SongPop Plus subscription in both SongPop Classic and SongPop by linking your accounts.
You can verify which SongPop account your Classic account is linked to by going into Settings > Account Settings.

Doesn't answer my basic question,if I already have accounts on both,where do I pay?will it create double accounts?I am worried I will be charged twice since I have accounts already in both
if your cousin SongPop 3 is "where big new things are happening" then why has it been a failure since launching and the majority of people stayed with SP 2? I've been a VIP for years and now I am leaving because I won't pay double for a game I don't want (3) and I won't go back to the basic level and watch ads. The ads are annoying enough to watch to get 1.5x rewards. You are really messing over your loyal players. I DONT CARE ABOUT SP3, Don't double the costs to try to bolster your player numbers on a losing app (3)
I think you are making a big mistake with your decision. After the 3 month trial period at the old VIP price I will leave. I am not interested in playing SP3 and so I don't care about all the new exciting things you are going to build for an app I am not going to use but you want me to pay for. I only want to play SP2 without adds. It's irritating enough I have to watch adds to get the 1.5x points to complete the month challenges in an app I already pay to play add free. I refuse to pay double for something I am not asking for. I think you really are letting down your loyal VIP players. Very, very disappointing!!!
I don't like SP3. Not sure I'll stay playing the game if it's going to cost 120$ a year to play. I was fine with 4.99 a month. Putting efforts into SP3 are not going to make me switch from SP2.
No interest in song pop 3, wont be subsidising a game I dont play by paying more for song pop 2/classic. If only choice is ads or paying more then count me out
I am not on board with the upcoming changes. I don't want to play Songpop 3, or whatever you want to call it.
What if I don't want the Songpop plus package? I just want to play Songpop2. I'm not paying for a VIP account for the new game.
There should be an option for VIP for Songpop2. Quit messing up a good thing and trying to charge more for a game that I don't want. I will not accept this ridiculous upcharge.

Hi, I got an invitation to play Songpop 3 for 3 months for €4,99. I could not accept in at my phone and I don’t know how to fix it at my iPad. I am glad that there is a 3 month period to check it out, I don’t know if I will stay after that, we’ll see….

I just want the diamond vip. Every time I click on it to change it in the app at the store, it tells me to go to the store to change it. I want diamond, how else can I access to change?

I want to get diamond vip. Not the badge. I am regular vip.
My original subscription was purchased through Google Play on an android. I have switched to Apple but still charged monthly on my Google. Now that you are changing, I can’t seem to update to the new VIP version on my Apple and keep all my stats. I sent an email to your support, but haven’t heard a response yet. Please advise. Thank you

Absolutely ridiculous idea!! It’s been marketed like I’d be saving money on my subscription but what’s actually happening is I’m unable to pay £3.99 a month as I have been happily for years now it’s gonna cost me double that and all I get is features I don’t want! I pay for VIP just to lose ads and be able to play the playlists I want when I want. As others on here have said I don’t want to go back to the free version with ads and paying double especially in the current financial situation is not something I want and is an unjustified rip off. I think I’ll be considering whether I want to continue playing SongPop at all given these changes, glad I’m not the only one angry with the changes, why piss off loyal players like this?
Also I’ve got a day left on my VIP status (would normally renew at £3.99 tomorrow) yet it’s already gone today, I’ve enjoyed playing this game for years now but it seems the people in charge are very out of touch with their customers and now they owe me a day of VIP.
I don't know who came up with the idea to change everything. **If it ain't broke don't fix it**. I have heard from many of my SP friends that they will NOT be going forward with this. Maybe upper management needs to read all these ideas. I have been playing for several years as a VIP @ $4.99 a month. That worked for me. Any additional cost will make me and several song pop buddies to leave.
The system keeps giving me an Error and will not let me sign up for plus! I have played SP for years. Please help

For what I expect is the majority of people who were quite happily on the VIP option that has existed for the last ten years, this is doubling the price for nothing extra that they *actually want*. Expect lots of cancelled accounts when the trial runs out.
How do you get Songpop Plus? I was paying for a subscription and now I am on Songpop Classic. The features suck.
@seanpatterson you were a current subscriber you were suppose to opt in to test out the Songpop Plus subscription that they were offering. If you didnt opt in they kicked you back down to the basic level where you have to watch ads and all that other crap. I subscribed thru GooglePlay app store. Try your app store and look for songpop classic.

It depends how you paid to begin with. If you play on Android, it will probably be a subscription in Google Play.
It is duplicitous to have you pay for one thing (VIP as it was) and then switch it to something else (effectively basic SongPop but with no ads). I would suggest trying to get a refund via your payment provider.

However in history it does show songpop daily revive.

You are out of your damn minds. I just canceled my Plus subscription since the only way it works on the game you are trying to force people to play by doing cross missions is if you purchase Plus on that Garbage Game. You won't be getting my money by trying to drum up business for a crappy app!!!

Since this month i accidentally paid in classic my ONLY option to get plus on both apps is to pau an ADDITIONAL 9.99$? And you won’t credit my account? Try to align the time with when it expires in 30d? That’s really uncool. So due to a mistake, what costs 9.99/m this month will cost me double that?!
