The Playlist Mastery Race is an exciting new feature that allows the users to compete to be the first to master playlists and get rewards! Every week once new playlists are released, the races will begin. A race is over once you have successfully mastered the playlist- you will then be able to see the leaderboard and see where you rank.
Remember, time is of the essence and the faster you master a playlist, the higher your rank!
Please note that Mastery Race is only available for new playlist releases and will not be available for playlists you previously own.
Trophies
Some playlists may have a trophy cup icon displayed on the top left corner of their artwork. These indicate whether or not a race is available on that specific playlist. You will see either a solid trophy, an outline of a trophy, or no trophy at all.
A solid trophy means a mastery race is available and active for you! You will have automatically joined the race because it’s either a new release, or because you have no correct answers (0 XP) on the list. You do not need to purchase the playlist in order to win a badge, you will only need to master it by getting enough correct answers to earn 2000 XP.
A trophy outline means a mastery race is available, but you are not yet participating in it. This is for lists that you have previously played and gotten at least one correct answer or earned at least 1 XP. In order to become eligible to earn rewards, you must click “Join the race!” on the playlist detail screen. Please keep in mind that when you join the race, any existing XP and mastery progress that you have in the list will be reset, in order to prevent any unfair advantage to players.
If there isn't a trophy shown, then a mastery race is not yet available for that playlist. You can only compete in a race once per playlist and earn a reward once so keep checking back; we add new races to older playlists every Wednesday and Saturday morning! Please keep in mind when you join a race for a re-released playlist that you had previously mastered, it removes that from your total of mastered lists
Stats
All race info will be visible in playlist details- you can even compare yourself to your opponents in each mastery race with average and best scores.
Note: number of rounds will include every round played for the race including received and practice mode.
Leaderboard:
Each playlist available for a mastery race will have a leaderboard of the top 100 players who mastered it.

You also have the ability to share your mastery with your friends to showcase both your mastery as well as how many total mastered playlist you have- plus your current rank/progress if race is live!
Please note that we now display the number of notes you are missing (via countdown) instead of percentage during gameplay for mastering playlists.
