What is Playlist Mastery Re-Release?

Playlist Mastery Re-Release 

Every Wednesday and Saturday, we "re-release" one past playlist. Wednesday's are artist-themed, while Saturdays are mixed content playlists. These playlists show up in their own separate section in the shop underneath the standard new releases. The major updates to the re-released playlists include a small addition of newer songs (between 20-50 per list) as well as new artwork. Please continue reading below for a quick guide to the mastery races of re-released playlists! 

If you’ve never played the playlist before and therefore have 0 mastery in it, you are automatically in the race.

If you have any pre-existing mastery (even from one single right answer), you have to reset your mastery (at a cost of 5 power-ups) by clicking “Join the race!” before you are eligible for rewards.

If you already own the list, you don’t have to buy it again to get the re-released version, the playlist in your collection will automatically update to the latest version of the playlist! However, you will still need to join the race to get the rewards.

Important note: You do not have to join the mastery race of a re-released playlist and your pre-existing progress for the playlist will remain the same- however when you do master this playlist, you will not win a badge.
