The Special tab will be replacing the Party tab on the home screen* but don’t worry, parties will still be available through this tab!
In this tab you are able to access Classic Parties as well as various features in SongPop! You can use these to easily navigate between games for some Monthly Pass missions or if you simply just want to try out some of the cool features SongPop has to offer!
In order to access this tab, you must have a linked SongPop account—Please note that you DO NOT need a subscription for this, all you need are two linked accounts even if they are both basic!
In order to link your accounts please ensure you have both games downloaded. If you do not already have an account in SongPop (formerly SongPop 3), you must create a new account even if you already have an account in Classic.
To link your accounts please go to Settings > Account Settings > Link SongPop Account in SongPop Classic which will redirect you to SongPop where the process can be completed.
If you find you are having trouble, please follow the detailed steps in this article. If issues continue to persist, please submit a support ticket through SongPop Classic in Settings > Report and Issue and our agents will be happy to help!

It's no use for those who use Microsoft to play-!! (Unless you can persuade a friend to use their smrt-fone to link your account?) - A PC was fine when SP were taking money, but now not to play the full game?!
The new song pop app will not work if classic is open. No links will respond. Classic freezes and crashes if the new game is open. No use linking.
What other app? Microsof store doesn't find another app. I click on the special app and it asks me to sync, then it tells me app not found, install the other songpop app, create an account, come back here to songpop classic to sync, download now. I click on it and it tells me to download from microsoft store and it doesn't find anything.
Followed the instructions but I still don't get anything to scroll down when I hit the stupid special button. You owe me thirty free minutes of Party mode.
@ RITA GOLDBERG - It can only be linked on a 'Smart' 'phone; it's not on Microsoft, so no use for us PC users-!! (After I'd spent ages trying to find it in M'Soft store) - Once linked you can resume on your PC -(or at least, that's worked for me today; who know what'll happen when I try sign in again tomorrow.. :(
I don't have, or want, a smrt-phone, but luckily my friend agreed to use theirs-!
I’m not able to link accounts after downloading and creating the new one and I’m on iPhone 14 :( Tbey owe me the Love Badge, lots of tickets, and XP points. I can’t access the parties at all where it says ‘Special’. Nothing SPECIAL about this, it’s BS. There seems to be a major issue linking accounts here.
Still unable to link my account. Your update isn’t working. Just change it back.
Everyone keeps saying you can create it on your smart phone. Special button doesn't work on my phone either. It just sends me to another songpop type game and it messed up my computer play for the day. How many complaints until something is done? I liked the Parties! I don't like the Special.
I do not like the new song pop 3 it’s horrible I like song pop classic the way it was so I can access parties just put it back to the way it was please it’s obviously a failure
I agree go back to the way it was. New one is horrible!
I agree with everyone.. I still cannot do most of them on my computer which is what I use to play SongPop and it upsets me that one of my missions I am not able to complete because of this..Please just let us play the classic and those who like the new one can play that...
I PLAY ON A LAPTOP AND I CAN'T ACCESS THIS FIX IT OR LOSS MY PRESCRIPTION
