Adding stars

I don’t play parties as I find that it’s almost impossible to earn a new badge with these parties.  My question is “is there anyway possible to add extra stars to a badge you already have without playing in these parties”?  Thanks!

  Earn more of the same badge from mastering playlists.  You can then upgrade the stars.
