Why aren't our "liked" songs retained from one game to the next?

This feature is inconsistent.  Sometimes songs that I've "liked" do show up as "liked" in subsequent games, but more often than not they don't.

As the title of my thread references, "Why aren't our ;liked' songs retained from one game to the next?"

  One reason- they could have that song on several albums (yes, dating myself haha) let’s say for example- Scorpions, the Zoo. It’d be on the original album, live, greatest hits then compilation albums. Notice the album cover they show when you see the song you liked. Make Sense?
