iPhone vs Android

Ok, I'm reaching out to the community to see if there is any truth to the rumour that playing Songpop on an Android phone is a disadvantage compared to if you play on an iPhone. I'm told Androids are a tad slower but if this is true, how exactly are they slower? Is the audio delayed? Is the touchscreen not as quick to respond? I play on a Samsung phone and often an opponent will answer almost before I have even heard the song. Therefore, I'm inclined to believe this rumour is true. Thoughts anyone?
