Why is Songpop leaving FB?

I cannot get into my SongPop games that I have played for 10 years on that site! Was given login to new account but after filling out acct. learned this will not "be approved til end of September!" Now I am blocked from SongPop on FB!  They sent me to "The App Store to find my old players." They had no idea what I was talking about! Thus I have no games!   I've  lost friends of 10 years! Without any warning! Does anyone understand what went on and where else can I find FB if I have to start fresh? I feel like we were all fired!
