    I'm sure Songpop Help will get right on the problem to help both of us, then add the solution to their FAQs...Right...Don't you just love going back to Songpop1 after using Songpop2? LOL.

    Seems to me your Kindle Fire uses customized version of Android that is now obsolete and therefore won't allow you to have latest version of SongPop.  From what I can see the Amazon store version of SongPop is from 2015.  I found this article that says you can upgrade the custom Android op sys to std Android later version allowing you to access Google Play Store.  That should give you access to latest Songpop.  I don't use Kindle fire so can't test this for you so its at your own risk.
