Games that won't go away after they are trashed

I have several games that are over, and I have trashed them, and it says game over, however, when I try to start a new game, it keeps saying I have to many going when I only have about 5, this is very frustrating

  No, I haven't, and I would love to have it resolved, I can't play any new games and it sucks!
