Instead of getting 1,2,5 or 10 points for answering correctly how about points depend how quick you answer

  Perhaps you need to elaborate what part of the game you are talking about normal game answers, mastery bonus, party?  The normal game answers scores are based on you answering correctly and the faster you do the more points you get.  Mastery bonus is just on correct answers.  Party answers are also based on speed.
