Profile Photo

I am having issues with changing my profile photo on the game. When I try to add a perfectly fine (not grainy) photo to my profile, it adds it to the top left hand corner of the photo circle causing the rest to become black. Also, when I click to enlarge this photo, it appears to be incredibly grainy and pixelated. How can I fix this? Thanks!
