Profile picture cropped and blurred

Recently I tried to update my profile picture, but when I do it crops the picture and the picture appears blurry. 

 

I already uninstalled then reinstalled the app then uploaded my picture but it didn't work again.

 

How can I solve this problem?

  It happened to me on my phone last night but then I got on my tablet and it worked fine. It's just a device issue apparently.
