Deleting or not wanting to use the 2 song choice for 2 power ups

I’m relatively new to song pop two. Sometimes the option to use to power ups to illuminate two of the songs comes up it doesn’t take the power ups from me as I don’t click on it But it continues to offer only two choices plus it makes it extremely hard to put any answer in. So why does this happen am I pushing something or did I select something that this option comes up it only comes up sometimes and I can’t figure out why or what to do about it any suggestions?

  That option should be available EVERY round you play, whether its against someone, practice mode or party mode.

   

  Don't press it, and you won't use any powerups.  Only use them if you have to, they are like gold lol
