No Sound!
Dear SongPop 2: I have been without sound on Sound Pop 2 now for quite a while. If you look at my history, I log in every day, but I haven't had sound for weeks. I put a new battery into my laptop in the late-middle of January. The sound has been almost non-existent since then. Can you help me please/

Hi June, if the rest of the SongPop community also had no sound for weeks then I think they would have a mass riot on there hands. I would say for sure that there's a problem with your laptop. So if you would like to try a few things perhaps I can help. Please understand with no info on your operating system its not easy to suggest quick fix.
Are you getting any sound whatsoever from your laptop thru the speakers in any program, a good program to try would be media player if its on windows? If you get no sound on media player then try the following -
Try just thru laptop speakers. I know you have said they are not working but running media player can often cause pc to automatically reconfigure sound thus fixing it.
Also try by plugging headphones in, make sure you are plugging into correct socket as people often plug into the mic socket by mistake. It is important to check speakers and headphones which can indicate other problems.
Check for physical volume control on laptop and/or headphones
If its windows check for a speaker icon near the clock to see if it has a red x thru it, if so the sound is muted. Single click the spreaker icon to show the mute box and untick it. If not muted double click the speaker icon to bring up mixer and check wave audio is not muted.
If you've tried all of above and there seems to be no physical explanation for the problem then odds are that a windows update has installed a new sound driver on your pc. If its windows there are often help wizards that can help you resolve that, I would suggest by reverting to your old sound driver.

I also am having issue with no sound and I am playing on iPad. Not a PC. I can hear the music, half second after the countdown gets to three each at each turn, I also hear record scratching sound just before music starts, but there is no game sounds at all with or without headphones. I use wireless so it’s not cord issue. Music has already started for first song before sound is heard.
