Accessibility for Talkback (Blind) Users
Hello everyone!
As some of you might know, audio-based things (such as music, radio, audiogames, etc) and the blind are, in general, for obvious reasons, very interconnected, unless the person is deafblind, not only blind, of course. Well, SongPop is, in essence, an audiogame. The PC version, although mostly accessible, still has its limitations, such as not having an accessible menu for deleting users that do not play any longer, etc. However, it is still mostly playable. What I am asking, though, is the implementation of accessibility for Android users who, with Talkback turned on, can play most games when they are programmed with accessibility in mind and standard controls. I have tried to contact SongPop's staff via e-mail and all I get is automated responses and no human follow-ups. And this happened not only once! I know that programming is not easy and specially if it is for a large group of people. But I also know that there are accessibility-related discussions for quite a while now and some games, such as SongPop itself, could have this accessibility, since it is, essentially, a trivia game and I know some trivia games that NVDA (PC), Talkback (Android) and VoiceOver (iOS) work with quite well!
Anticipating my sincere and honest gratitude for an equally sincere and honest interested response,
André Luis Baldo - Brazil.
