Losing rounds when answering songs faster

Even though I answered the questions faster than my opponent, I still lost. I answered the songs first. Why is this? Thanks.

  It looks like you answered slower on the last song.  The last song holds a lot of weight and the faster you can answer the last song, the better off you will be.
