SongPop app keeps saying I need to turn in notifications

The SongPop app keeps saying I need to turn on my notifications on my device. However, the notifications on my device ARE ON! The notifications within the settings of SongPop keep giving me the error that my notifications are not on and send me to my iPhone settings where the notifications ARE ON! Is this a glitch in the game?
