Delete a current opponent that doesn't have a game with me

How do I delete a current opponent that doesn't have a game with me. I get a game error "It's not your turn to play this quiz." I don't have a quiz/game with this user.

  Before you got to that msg you must have clicked on something that had there name or info?  If you can get back to there look for a wastebasket ikon and click it.  You might have to scan around the screen for it.
